OPEN RECORDS REQUESTS FOR THE
DEKALB COUNTY BOARD OF ETHICS, ONLY
The DeKalb County Board of Ethics is a public agency subject to the Open Records Act. All Open Records Act requests to the Board of Ethics shall be made in writing and served upon the open records officer(s).

Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 50-18-71, persons making Open Records requests to Ethics may be charged administrative and copying fees for the cost to search, retrieve, copy, and supervise access to requested document(s) that are not otherwise subject to a legal exemption. The fee represents the hourly rate of the lowest paid full-time employee with the necessary skill and training to respond to the request, with no charge for the first 15 minutes of the time it takes to respond to the request. The charge for each page copied is $.10 unless otherwise provided by law. The enforcement provisions of O.C.G.A. §§ 50-18-73 and 74, shall only be available to enforce non-compliance of requests made consistent with this notice.
