George Ference

George Ference

George Ference practiced law for many decades, primarily in Dekalb and Fulton Counties, in state and federal courts. His practice was broad and primarily concerned litigation. He graduated from Emory College and Emory Law School.  He is now retired as Attorney at Law, Emeritus.   

Mr. Ference served as an associate attorney for the City of Atlanta, particularly serving Police, Fire, Corrections and Purchasing Departments.  In a private law practice, he has substantial experience with employee suits, personal injury, civil rights, family law and construction claims.   He handled trials and appeals in the state and federal courts, and administrative proceedings.   Mr. Ference grew up in Brunswick, Georgia. He enjoyed participating in track and field events in college and high school, as well as small boat sailing. He has lived in Dekalb County for many decades with his wife, and enjoys his children and grandchildren.
