On November 3, 2020, the voters of DeKalb County ratified an amendment to the DeKalb County Ethics Code (Act No. 538) which revises the manner in which members of the Board of Ethics are appointed. Under this new law, current Board of Ethics members will continue to serve until December 31, 2020. Effective January, 2021, future appointments to the Board of Ethics will be made pursuant to the revised appointment process. All meetings are currently held in person at the Maloof Auditorium and the Ethics Board members have chosen to hold regular meetings on the third Thursday of the month at 6pm. Agendas will be posted on this website prior to the meeting. A quorum of four members is required before any official business may be conducted at a Board meeting.
Meetings in 2024 are scheduled to be held on the following dates at 6pm:
January 18, February 15, March 21, April 18, May 16, June 20, July 18, August 15, September 19, October 17, November 21, December 19.
