(1984); AFL-CIO Friend of Labor 2006, Chairman Georgia Crime Victims Compensation Board 1990-2008, GA State Board of Workers’ Compensation Advisory Council 1996 – 1997, President of the Workers’ Compensation Claimants Lawyers (WCCL) 1996 to 1998, Member of the Georgia Workers’ Compensation Advisory Commission 2000, Georgia Judicial Nominating Committee 2000-2003, Georgia State Ethics Commission 2004-2006, Awarded Excellence in Legal Profession by MALDEF 2005, Workers’ Compensation panel member for the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) 2003 to 2012, Workers’ Compensation panel member for the Professional Hockey Players League Association (PHPA) 2003 to 2012, State Bar of Georgia Transition into Law Practice Program by Chief Justice Leah Spears 2008, Inductee to College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers 2010, Frequent speaker and lecturer on workers’ compensation issues.
